Our Story

Upon founding and running the Madsonian Museum of Industrial Design for a decade, David Sellers proposed a design studio where his designs could be brought to market along side those of his son Parker Sellers, and other respected designers and architects.

During his 50-year career in architecture, he designed and fabricated many furnishings such as doors, chairs, light fixtures and an incredible chess set.

Having spent 15 years developing and using 3D modeling and animation skills for the film industry, Parker Sellers has founded this design studio, the Madsonian Design Group.

Our first collaboration is with architect Gregg Fleishman, who has decades of experience with modern design using plywood. Gregg and David met once, became friends and that friendship resulted in Gregg’s chair being made in Vermont and showcased at the Madsonian museum and house.
